Egypt announces Russian willingness to host Israel-Palestinian negotiations

The president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, announced Sunday night that Russian President Vladimir Putin is willing to hold direct talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians; al-Sisi added that he believes that Israel is becoming more and more convinced of the need for peace.
