A live tiger cub was found curled up in a duffel bag at the US-Mexico border on Monday after smugglers abandoned an attempt to cross into the US. Border Patrol agents spotted three people trying to enter the US illegally along the river near Brownsville. An agency statement says the trio abandoned a bag and returned to Mexico.
